It eliminates the need for a separate power supply and is ideal for clean, secure, and easy-to-maintain installations, often used in IoT, smart home, and access control systems. It is important to check whether your router or network switch supports the PoE function, otherwise the device will not be able to be powered via Ethernet cable.
